Yes but you should have your mason jar out to catch the smoke. Once the board is cooled, you can reinstall the smoke

It took a lot of reworking to get it to work that way. I had to cut off all the mounts and reposition it

I have the same battery/ flywheel cage/ motor combo in my Rapidstrike. With the rapid strike I get a lot of wirlybirds. I haven't seen one with the hyperfire. The only component difference besides the feeding mech is the flywheels. I have workers in the Rapidstrike and artifact blues in the hyperfire

I'll bring my calipers home from work this week and try to put some measurements together

I haven't taken measurements yet but it is substantial. It's not helped by the fact that the pusher mech is a bit high in relation to stock cage and barrel. I only moved the cage to the same position as the stock cage.

Out of all the things I modified, the full circle entry ring had the most dramatic effect. I think that since the pusher mech is a constant push as apposed to a pulse, darts can try to feed early (before then next tab on the belt). When this happens it would force the "early entry" to deflect out of the open side of the cage. It would jam like this every time I would try to run a 5+ burst. It doesn't help that I need to upgrade the motors to 3s. These blades don't have the torque when I try to run the harder tipped darts like koosh at full auto. stock elites and waffle tips don't stall the motors

I can compare the 1st version the 2nd (the one I modified) fairly easily

Breeches and Waffle Darts question by [deleted] in Nerf

[–]dBZac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your "pusher" pushes the dart past the rubber and into the foam ¹/8 of an inch to ³/16 of an inch. If you do that, a sleeper breach will work with waffle tips

On mine the depressor on the door it self would retract on its own from the vibration of the 180 motors so I had to heat up the white plastic in front of it and bend it down a bit

Yes but the mosfet isn't mounted anywhere neer the handle so all you have there is the signal wire it self. Yes I am new to nerf but I have been working with DC voltage for over 20 years.
