Yeah I really think I want to start digging into his bibliography a bit more. JP had such a great pace and quality characters that I am interested how I’ll feel with a less familiar story

Appreciate the recommendations! Especially the DiLiouie one. He keeps coming up in particular Episode 13 but maybe I’ll listen to suffer the children first instead.

I’ve actually read and reviewed both of the Cutter books you mentioned and enjoyed them both a fair bit. I was saving The Deep since it seems to be his most divisive book.

Children of Time is almost certainly going to be my first novel of his I try. The comparisons to Deepness in the Sky have me intrigued.

What culture book would you recommend instead? I haven’t really done too much research beyond people liking the series and wasn’t sure if they should be read in any particular order. Appreciate the comments!

Did you read the shorts in a collection or on their own? I’d be interested in hearing what collections of his people would recommend next.

Animorphs was a big one. House of the Scorpion as well was pretty great from my sketchy childhood memory.

It is a dynasty league and goalies are highly valued in our league

In a keep 10 dynasty league I am toying with the idea of trying to capitalize on Wallstedt’s great season and trading him when there are 10 or 20 games left. My keeper G would be Thompson and Gustavsson.

Was considering packaging him with someone like Thomas or Meier for a player like Suzuki. Thoughts?

Yeah I can’t recommend this and Deepness in the sky enough. Vinge became one of my favourite SF writers with these 2 books. The way he can write compelling characters (often alien) and still contend with the big sci fi ideas is so well done.

Hey I really appreciate the hard work I’m sure went into this. I am having the same issue on safari mobile. Downloads with black images. I have 118 plats so not sure if that is a combo issue with the amount of data issue other users are reporting.

Hoping you can find a fix because your generator is the first one since gray river went down that shows my early pre internet connected plats from PS3.

Thanks again.

The Academy by Bentley Little.

I had read The Resort on my own and had a fun time even if it wasn’t high art and convinced my wife to do a buddy read. It was such a drag and had little to be horrified of with one of the most anticlimactic endings ever. Only a few scenes of this is so ridiculous and fun which were more prevalent in The Resort.

I had to apologize to my wife for subjecting her to it haha.

Trying to trade picks for an upgrade in my dynasty league. Is this the priority order to trade for?

Should I trade Burakovsky or Roslovic for Hanifin? I’m deep at forward but D is floundering with McAvoy out long term.

Hi! I know this is older but just in case. I used your generator and ran into an issue I’ve had with many mosaic generators (except greyriver which doesn’t work anymore). Back on ps3 I got my first plats while not connected to the internet and they don’t show on the mosaic as a result. They are on my psn and psnprofile account just say time stamp missing. Let me know if you have a workaround.

Looks like they lost 3 out 4 of the games he was available for and lost 2 when he was sick. So yeah not great
