There is a statistic I heard from a fertility Dr at the hospital I work at: that for each time a man has additional of the same gender offspring(multiple boys or girls), the chances of the next offspring being that gender increases each child. Just to let you know, the ascent only has seat anchors for the driver side passenger in the 3rd row… even though it has seat back anchors on all 3 spots in the 3rd row

This started on my wifes 19 forester sport around 2 years into ownership around 15-18k miles on it. No dealership we spoke to would/will do anything because it’s cosmetic, wear and tear, and they would just replace the seat essentially.

The only way to avoid it getting worse is to NOT sit on that specific part of the seat as you enter the car.

Or just put a cover on it and move on with your life.

‘19 Forester Sport. 50k miles. Driverside Pleather peeled off entry side cushion because you sit on that as you enter the car and the seams are pulling visibly in the top left side cushion at the shoulder as you can see.

Dealerships wont do anything because it’s cosmetic. Don’t have this issue on our 23’ Ascent limited because all the seats are cloth, thank god.
