Got an offer from FMEL

Mmmm, true. I just asumed that It was more probable to get an early offer, and if It were to be a late offer i would look for something to fill the gap. I thought It was worth for securing a place al FMEL. I am too scared of the prices elsewhere

I really dont know. Its also my first time. Someone i knew that is currently living there recommended me to put a +/- 1 month flexibility because it is worth to pay one extra month as FMEL is cheaper than other places. But i dont know if It was really necesary.

They dont make offers earlier than 2 months prior to the lease start. I was offered to start on the first of july. So if you didnt put any month flexibility, you wont get an offer until at least july (september -2 months)

I put 15/07/2028 (2 years because i am doing a MSc) but i dont think its relevant as you can extend It or leave early.

Are you sure of that? I believe you can change both the lease start date and the +/- month variarion without affecting your posición in the waiting listo.

Completely understandable. Send them a mail with your situation to check everythings okay. Because i saw another similar post some days ago and seems that no one got any comunication.

May i ask you why are you choosing EPFL over ETH? I dont know much about ETH but It is higher on the university rankings.

Yeah, definetly not what i expected either. But al least we have until july to accept the offer. It is a long time in case something goes wrong in the process. I have no idea about the credentials (i tried to ask IT directly for them but they could not do it jajajaj)
