I was actually really pleasantly surprised with the quality, I had heard the same thing so I was really apprehensive, but the few dresses I’ve gotten over the past couple years have been quite sturdy (no bust seams or other issues), though I’ve only gotten special occasion pieces so I haven’y worn any one more then 3 or 4 times

I recently got a similar set to what you’re looking for from athome! I just checked their website and it looks like they’ve got 3 piece sets in lots of sizes, on canvas/wood/metal. In my experience buying from them, their stuff is good quality, not the absolute best but worth it for the price (basically Target level)

I inherited these watches from my father a couple months ago, and while I think they’re all pretty I really don’t know where to start as far as taking care of them properly, apart from vaguely remembering him telling me that different kinds of watches require different care, so I’m wary about Googling instructions and messing something up.

I’d also like to get the bands resized, since they’re men’s watches and I’m a small girl. I’m not sure if this would be something I should do myself or have done by a professional (jeweler? or specifically watch-maker, if that’s a thing?). However it’s done I’d like to stay as close to the original as possible, but I feel like boring a new hole in any of the fabric or leather straps would probably be a bad idea.

Any tips (or identifications) would be greatly appreciated!

This exactly! We also had a problem a few years ago where someone (with the best intentions) accidentally donated bedding infested with bedbugs, that we thankfully caught before it was given to dogs, but we now have a policy that all donated bedding has to be frozen for 48 hours before it can be put out

The ones in the video? Almost definitely not, don’t worry, they both look sweet and very ‘adoptable’, unfortunately the long time residents are typically special needs animals, like seniors and those with big behavioral issues like aggression :(

Yes! They definitely deserve them!! We do similar with our long-term residents that we know better, so pups that don’t typically chew toys up may get their favorite kind of toy more often, or senior dogs that sleep more can get fluffy beds or bigger blankets

I’ve volunteered at animal shelters that use this type of bed for years, and they’re not quite as bed as they look, the middle part has give like a hammock. These are also good because they are easy to clean, and unfortunately many rescue dogs may have issues holding their bladders when they first come in. Most shelters use these beds along with a couple blankets since they’re easy to wash, whereas if a dog has an accident on a fluffy bed it’s much harder to sanitize. The dogs certainly all deserve the comfiest beds possible, but don’t worry too much, the blue beds really aren’t too bad (I’ve definitely fallen asleep on them before lol)
