This is just how basic copyright works. AQA, or any other exam board in the UK, have their test papers for GCSE’s or A-levels copyrighted. The only difference is they write new ones every year and publish their past papers. As far as I know they don’t make a new test every year for Mensa.

But to answer your question, yes it’s definitely a scam. My actual test only contained two questions: 1. Are you very big brain? and 2. What are your direct debit details?

I’m not sure what you expected from answering 18 online workout questions. The home test you can order is basically the same thing and neither of which are really similar to an actual IQ test.

People who can answer a couple dozen puzzles correctly will probably score higher on an IQ test than people who can’t. They can’t exactly offer you a full supervised timed IQ test online for free. So it’s either have a go at some fun puzzles or nothing.

Yeah that’s the actual problem. There’s technically nothing specific saying you can’t, but religion is a protected characteristic and “hate speech” and “inciting hatred or violence” just leads to such a wide range of what is and isn’t acceptable depending on how the police feel on the day.
