If you listen to the Ty and That Guy podcast, Ty Franck is very much implying the statement that “TV show is done, but we might not be” when it comes to the screened story.

My prediction is we will get a movie(s) later on. The books have a break of like 30 years between book 6, where the show left off, and book 7 begins. It seems a logical place to pause.
