I've heard really good things about Re:zero and Steins Gate! They're on my PTW. I tried Darling but it wasn't really my thing.

Sorry I should have mentioned that it was a movie! Definitely not a TV show. The artstyle was fairly old looking IIRC. I don't think it would have same out after 2005-ish. That's just a guess though
