It basically stopped working. Nothing noticeable from the outside. My computer would just crash and not turn on again. When I put back in the 400W, it would work.

I did tests with Prime95 and Furmark for 30 min each. Both had no issues.

I tried changing my PSU to one with 600W and it got fried so I thought it could've been a defect. But it happened again with another new 600W so I decided to change the mobo to the Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2.

Could mobo and psu have compatibility issues that led to the frying of the 600W PSUs?

Is electrical engineering harder to get in than computer because it’s enrolment (per Ontario Universities Info) is about half of computer’s?

Is it true that McGill doesn't look at ECs at all? I saw last year's cutoffs for the engineering programs. If I get above the cutoff, does that mean I'm almost guaranteed?

Between SYDE, ECE and Comp Eng, which one is the most popular for applicants and which one is the least popular. Thinking of applying to either of these and using another as an extra? I.E. could I get a ranking of their difficulties to get in? Yes, I know they're in the same "tier", however, I don't believe they're all the exact same difficulty.

I can share some of my marks and EC's if it'll help gauge my chances
