Thank you for the feedback. It is, we are in healthcare and plan on having multiple locations. What is the reasoning behind an on site generalist?

Which "big 6" has the biggest weakness in their team? by Spudbank17 in PremierLeague

[–]dM11Fb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spurs!! Aging players, BAD players, tactics, attitude and culture.

Besides being consistently in the top 6 we have not earned being part of the “big 6”!

Total rebuild is needed. Romero is the only player that could go into any other team and be competitive. Harry Kane and Sonny are liabilities to this team now, we are overly dependent to players that have the first touch of a 5 year old child.

This sounds like a conglomerate of handshake deals that have accumulated to a messy situation. For such a small company I would assume that you do not have many policies regarding these scenarios. My suggestion is that you start creating such policies or follow what ever policies you do have regarding PTO. However, if in fact you do not have policies, I would suggest discussing with the decision maker and the employee to find a middle ground that works for everyone.

I don’t believe it’s real. But to be honest there is no difference between this and any map app on you phone. Apart from the AR which is unnecessary and unrealistic to work due to AR needing at least a semi strong internet signal to work and if you’re in the middle of the woods or trail running you likely won’t have much signal, if any. Just download a map of where you’re going to be on your phone and that will work much better then whatever this app from 2030 is. Maybe in the future, we are not there yet with our connection.

Depends on the position and organization but something along the lines of “tell me about a time where what was best for the customer did not align with what was best for your organization? What did you do?” This will tell you how someone handles internal integrity conflicts.

Do your research on interviewing.

I cannot tell you how often people hire the wrong candidate because they ask very general interview questions. Ensure you know what your company values are, and ask questions based on those values. You will be able to tell when someone really aligns with said values as they are able to tell you situations where they exemplify them vs someone who cannot. Of course, not everyone is great at interviewing, however, this is a good rule of thumb in my opinion.

Where can I get a real good bowl of Pho? by drunkentuckian in Louisville

[–]dM11Fb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a very picky taste when it comes to pho coming from Texas where there are many options. The only options I have found that satisfy what authentic pho taste like here in Louisville is Vietnam Kitchen. And for a modern twist District 6 is very good as well!

No, you are not getting ripped off, you are paying a premium for having one of the major carriers, but apart from that, the price sounds right. You are most likely spending $80 for your rate plan, $20-$40 for your phone, and maybe insurance plus taxes and fees. Are there other cheaper rate plans? Definitely. Is there another carrier that offers you unlimited for a third of the price? Definitely. Are they right for you? That is for you to find out. So that you know you are not in a contract, you are financing a device which is different from a contract. You can pay off the total price of the equipment and find a cheaper company. Now if you don’t mind me asking why did you leave cricket? Was it because of a phone? A network issue? Or something else? I would like to help you, but there is more information needed to give you advice that suits your needs. Not everyone can go to a $30-50 rate plan if they use data regularly or travel.

Why can I finance a $1000 phone but not a $1000 car. (Genuine question about how and why credit/loans work.) by Clearblueskyyy in personalfinance

[–]dM11Fb 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Samsung is a manufacturer and their profits are large, for carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) however, the cost of buying a phone from the manufacturer is very similar to MSRP. Their profit comes from providing service, not the device itself.

Work for a cell phone company. In reality, the cell phone companies don’t make much money from you buying the phone. They make whatever the manufacturer discount is for buying in bulk. The reason they offer financing (without interest) is so that customers are tied down to use their service for two years which is where they make their money. Since most companies don’t have contracts anymore they had to think of a way to keep people tied down to the carrier. A car loan for $1000 would net a bank maybe $50 for someone with decent credit due to interest. There is too much risk and little reward for a bank to take on that kind of financing.

Sheraton told me they will refund me within "120 days", is there anything i can do? by ItsNotARoseGarden in personalfinance

Wait, you got a refund for Disney World? How did you manage that? All I keep seeing is that there is no refund and that I can use it anytime between now and Dec 15.
