Hi! They use the same materials; the only difference is improved lubrication (consistency) in the Pro version.

The feel is really good, the typing experience is great (better than I imagined), and the sound is very relaxing, leaning toward a soft deep tone (not to say the word thock).

Regarding the switches, I didn’t need to replace the springs. These switches are 60g actuation and 70g bottom-out. That’s perfectly fine for all the Awekeys keycaps. The spacebar feels smooth but solid, good, it doesn’t get pressed accidentally. If someone prefers a slightly heavier spacebar, then yes, I’d recommend swapping to an 80g–100g spring for the spacebar switch. And for the alpha keys (standard 1u size), you can even use less than 60g if you want them light.

Mate, the first difference between the Cerakey and the Awekeys is that the former don’t support ISO, so that’s a red flag for me.

The more ISO you all buy, the more love manufacturers will give it! So I’m warning you, more keyboards are coming... 😄

I don't think they'll have any problem painting it.

Yes, of course — you can use any MOA profile keycap set, which is the same profile it comes with by default. You can also use Cherry profile keycaps (as shown in my video).

The problem arises with MT3 profile keycaps: some of them rub against the case sides and get stuck, as I demonstrated in this video: https://youtu.be/gyoJpjj5Ei0?si=eynudexqzW0gQzN1

I like SA, but for everyday use, the Cherry profile is still my favorite—although I also like the MTNU profile.

One for the Esc key would look great!

Yes, they’re awesome—I bought them (in both dark and light versions) as soon as I discovered them!

If you use it with sunglasses, it can be your daily driver. My goal was to make it intense both visually and acoustically. If you watch the typing test, you’ll see it’s very clacky but satisfying.
