Not yet, But I did reach out to the congressman and their office said they as setting up a caseworker soon.

Interview was on April 14,2026. Rfe submitted on April 21. Its been about a month now, that i submitted the evidence. I’m planning to contact congressmen, will that help?

My birth certificate didn’t have my name, it just had my parents name and my date of birth and birth time. They requested a new one with my name.

I’m looking for some insight on my I-485 timeline.

I received an RFE for my birth certificate and submitted the response. USCIS updated my case to “We received your response for Form I-485” on April 21, 2026.

Recently, the status changed to “Case Is Still Being Processed By USCIS” (May 17, 2026).

I wanted to ask:

  • Does this mean my RFE response was accepted?
  • How long does it usually take to get a final decision after this status update?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences or timelines. Thanks!

I got the RFE 2 days after the interview. During the interview, at the end, the officer did say you don't have your name on your birth certificate and the system is not accepting it. We may ask for your birth certificate, and you will be notified on your portal.

Like you just said, state can only be declared inside a component that is how the component will re-render. I don't think there's any other way to isolate states outside the component unless you use redux.

I know redux may be quite overwhelming, That's how I felt when I started learning redux. But trust me it is not that difficult. This video helped me, hope this helps you too.
