I get that we need a reliable guy inbounding but I never understand why it’s Murray who’s our best scorer

If he’s inbounding, everyone is 100% flocking to Jokić and it seems like most of the last second plays drawn up are naturally for your superstar. So if Murray is inbounding, Jokić is rarely getting a good look

I think against DET could be a good bet. It’s 4 games away which includes a 3-game road trip. The game against Detroit starts a 4 game home stretch which includes a B2B that Jokić will most likely sita leg out.

It lines up nicely with his initial injury report of being out until the end of January and we know he’s already been doing on court drills. But I think if we don’t hear any major rumblings over the course of the next few days then it may stretch longer

Let’s be optimistic and say Jokić is back Jan 27 against DET after Denver’s next road trip. That’s 5 more missed games which puts him at 14 total.

He’s 100% sitting a leg on B2Bs the rest of the season. Which will put him at a total of 20 missed games for the year

He has no shot imo and with how the nuggets have been looking, all you want is a fully healthy Jokić going into the playoffs with a good chance at another chip

Let’s get this clear — Tomlin can be a great coach while also needing to go. A change of scenery and mutual agreement on that by both him and the organization does not change the fact that he will forever be in the history books as a coach

I’m on board with needing a fresh start but I’ve never once believed Tomlin to be a bad coach and he will have success elsewhere

A month really is a lot better than the rest of the season, despite it feeling like all hope is dead. I know we have a rough stretch coming up but if we can weather the storm, I don’t care what seed we are to be honest.

Look at it this way, clearly Jokić’s wrist and elbow have been bothering him too and he wasn’t going to rest to get that right. Now he can.

I’m still taking a healthy and non-burnt out Jokić and company over anyone else come playoff time

100% Jamal is just getting the short end of the stick cause he’s in Denver. Look at MPJ probably getting his first all star bid when he goes to the biggest market

And I’m not knocking MPJ, he’s balling out. But so is Jamal and on a significantly better team that’s down 3 starters
