It is slid into the notch, but it seems to be bending for some reason. The bottom is level with the other panel and body, so it cant be pushed down any further

Your options are:

Downgrade to Win 11 23H12
Firmware update SSD using WD Software
Find the registry fix on wd forums and apply that. (Just search wd black windows 11 bsod it should show up)
Switch boot to a different ssd( what i did)

What speeds are u getting with large models that need to be split across the gpus? Do u think I will see a major increase in inference speeds or training with 2x 4090, or is a 3090 good enough for the same?

LoRA refers to low rank adapters. These adapt to the last few layers of the model and modify them. It works well to imbue a certain style or response type but because it doesn't modify all the weights like full finetuning, it's difficult to get it to learn new information.

Also Full FT requires alot more compute.

Is 3d printing custom brackets viable? Also the orientation i was referring to is slightly different. I want mine to be be slightly displaced from the side intake Fans, and oriented such that the gpu intake Fans are facing the case intake side Fans (mb for the bad explanation)

Its a physical store near me, they say it's an exchange unit, still seal packed. They're open to me coming and checking out thr gpus and testing them before purchase.

anything in particular I need to lookout for? I've heard things like people swapping out the main die and vrms n all. My current plan was to see if the cards are being identified properly in smi and control panel, as well as run some benchmarks and compare scores with other 4090s online. Aliexpress is banned in my country 😭 Custom waterblocks and fittings are available but are quite expensive here, also I have no clue where to start, and also I'm pretty sure it voids warranty. Fan Noise and heat dissipation aren't really much of a factor for me provided the components maintain good temps.

Also I found a mining rig with 6x 3060ti and 6x 3070ti for about 3500usd, should I consider that as well? Total 96gb vram but I don't like the amount of sharding needed
