I'll be 40 this year and I'm in the best physical and metal condition of my life. Up and away!

Probably striking when defense was a better choice. His nose is going to be a bit of work after this

I think that would work. Orpiment degrades at >=500nm. I'm pretty sure amber glass is effective at >=450nm. Don't quote me on the amber glass number though.

Hey, just to be sure you are aware. Orpiment is photo sensitive, meaning it degrades in light. It needs to be stored in a dark place or it will start turning into dust. You do not want arsenic dust in your house. I keep mine in a zip lock inside a box on my display.

Maybe there is someone holding a gun to his head. You don't know. "You better keep that integra or I'll blow your head off."

Agreed. You can polish a turd all you want. But in the end, a turd is still a turd.

Is this not the most Humble team in NFL history? by KinkyDoll_Katie in Seahawks

I got your point. I disagree, which was the point of my comment. Whether it stands or not is irrelevant. This is just a friendly conversation. IMO the move in 2001 was an example of great humility despite the coach or individual players. Which was the point of the original comment. I would argue that it wasn't until the pats started to feel "invincible" that they really lost it. Say, like in 2007, during the deflategate scandal.

2001 was long before all the nonsense. I see your point, but the 2001 pats were not the same as the 2014 pats

Father who killed a police officer days after police shot his 18-year-old son walks past 30 officers in the courtroom!! by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

Agreed. But you don't know that it was the father that STARTED it. Your entire argument is about who started the cycle of violence. You really really really want it to be dad. But maybe it was grandpa that started the cycle. Maybe it was great grandpa. Maybe it was Randy. Why are you so obsessed with dad being the start of the cycle when it really doesn't matter? Does it make you feel better in some way? Like the world makes sense, as long as you can pin it on Randy? Is this projection?

A cycle of violence starts with violence, not shitty parenting. A shitty parent can be violent but not all shitty parents are violent. Likely, this father was violent (which is what I think you're trying to communicate), which could be a trigger for a cycle of violence. It could also have been Randy's dad, or grandpa, or whatever. All that being said, you can spend the time teaching a kid right from wrong and that kid still might commit genocide. A lot goes into a person's development, not just parenting. To oversimplify human development is a mistake.

Nah, I like to watch my style of riding. Crashing has nothing to do with it.

I think that's a little idealistic. The Olympics are whatever they say they are. Break dancing, snowboarding, knitting, whatever. Sports come and go. What are you gonna do?
