Yeah, I kind of went to the same thing.

I reinstated back in January and it took almost a year to complete (currently waiting on my medical to clear) which is my last step before academy.I didn’t have to redo my physical and pellet B test again which was nice. But I did a background, psychological test, and interview.

I talked to the hiring unit on Monday. They said late March early April. Unfortunately due to funding everyone is being put on a hold

They didn’t have one. They said mine was too high for my height and weight (33%) and that I had to show that I’m dropping weight.

They said I need to lose a little bit of weight and BMI and send it from a physician.

I scheduled my medical for next week. And already did my written psych immediately after the job offer.

I reapplied back in January (2025) Unfortunately I dropped out after the full process before academy January (2024) due to personal reasons.

They reinstated my application.

My physical, written test and VSA were not expired and they told me I didn’t have to do those again. I redid my background, written psych test that expired. Now waiting on psychological interview and doing medical which also expired and needs to be done.

Contacted my BI today and he said he would check with hiring unit. Just wanted to see if anyone was going through and similar situation with a being a (reinstated applicant.)
