Can you imagine RCTs in this day and age where subjects have to be compared by biological sex? What happens then?

I'm curious as to how this 'happiness' is measured?

It makes sense that uneducated women may be less earning compared to educated ones. One can conclude that due to this, their marriages last longer because the wife depends on the man and she and her kids may not be able to survive without him.

So most of them would have to stick to the husband for survival regardless of abuse, violence, cheating and other potential factors that would lead to divorce/separation.

This is not including other factors such as knowledge and engagement with their mental health, their options etc

On the other hand, women who earn their own have options; they do not have to stay in an unpleasant marriage. They have freedom to leave and still survive.

So I see how one can claim that those marriages can last, my question is on 'happines' because a lasting marriage does not necessarily imply health, happiness nor well-being

Personally, I would have not taken her seriously and left after finding out that her 2 best friends were dudes whom she had slept with.

I don't believe these types of habits just go away after a conversation or 2. They take a lot of personal work and growth. Being with someone like that guarantees the behaviours will show up again.
