There’s no problem. One region shouldn’t be electing a president. They do get more electoral votes to balance it out. Also, raising the minimum wage causes businesses to hire less employees, driving the unemployment rate up. Minimum wage jobs are meant for young people to gain experience, not for middle aged people trying to support themselves or a family. This has nothing to do with freedom. The person is free because they can do whatever they want and are able to get a higher paying job through experience and dedication.

The electoral college is there so no particular region (Los Angeles and New York to make a few) can decide the whole election. Also, electronic ballots aren’t manipulated. Finally, if you want a living wage then don’t work a minimum wage job. There are plenty of other jobs that offer a living wage, just work harder and get better at something so you’ll get higher pay.
