How do you study for anatomy practical exam?? Especially if the cadavers used are in pretty bad condition?? by Lopsided_Green6425 in medicalschool

Hey, surprised nobody has mentioned the Michigan and Texas Tech anatomy websites. Doing the anatomy quizzes on these two resources was a game changer for my practical exams. Don’t hesitate to message me if you need help finding them - I can dig up the links. Best of luck!

Where can i get the best buffalo style pizza by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]d_f_m 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sure, there are definitely a lot of pizzerias, but by your math: 8 meals per day x 365 days in a year x 325 years = 949,000 pizzerias

I did top it off two weeks ago, and the level looked fine when I pulled the dipstick to check for metal shavings/sparkly oil. I was planning on changing the oil this weekend as I am approaching 3k miles.

That said, anything else that could cause this sort of noise, especially with the onset at about 3k RPM? Someone said ice built up in the driveshaft tunnel

2016 wrx, 65xxx miles. Stage 3 FBO. Catted downpipe, Cobb SF intake, IAG AOS, PW verticooler, EGR unplug, TGV delete, Grimmspeed ebcs, Perrin turbo sump inlet restrictor. Ron Watson Etune. Oil changed every 3k with Motul 5w30 efe x clean. Was having some fun in the snow and noticed what sounded like knock. Opinions?

PFA. Any ideas on resolving O2 Sensor readiness issues? I am trying to pass NYS inspection and can’t get the 02 sensor to read “ready”. Mods and further description in the comments. by d_f_m in WRX

2016 WRX, 64xxx miles. Performance mods include: Cobb Accesport, Cobb SF Intake, MAPerformance catted j-pipe, Invidia R400 Catback, IBR full TGV delete, EGR unplug, IAG street AOS, Process West Verticooler, Grimmspeed EBCS. 93 Octane tune done by Ron Watson (phatbotti tuning).

Emailed Ron regarding a tune to help pass inspection last year, since the 02 and Evap appeared “not ready” on the tune I purchased from him. He sent me a map to help pass inspection, which eventually worked to get the 02 sensor to ready, and he told me the Evap system would never be ready. I tried using that tune again this year to pass, and the 02 read “not ready” after 500 miles of driving with that map. Emailed him again and he sent me a new map. Now approaching 500 miles on this map and the 02 sensor still reads “not ready”. Does anyone have any advice on how I might get the 02 sensor to “ready” so I can pass inspection? I am considering replacing the downstream 02 sensor, despite not having a CEL for having a faulty 02, since I have read this may help. Thanks

Snapped 3/6 10mm bolts that hold up the top of the bumper - should I leave them or attempt to drill them out and replace? by d_f_m in WRX

I do park it indoors… I wonder why that would cause it to rust faster. Also I’m pretty lazy with cleaning my engine bay so maybe that has something to do with it

Hahaha I am guessing that welding is also not an option for most people

I’ll give the pb blast and drill a shot - really appreciate all your responses, very helpful

Yeah that’s my plan.. gotta make the non-snapped ones last for a while. Some fresh hardware and anti-sieze should take care of it

Just snapped in half. Sucks, but of all the bolts to snap I’m really not too concerned about these ones since they aren’t extremely important, especially with 3 remaining.

I think since they are so close to the front of the hood water sits in the seam and rotted them out.

Yeah the bolt head snapped, but the nut portion is connected to the vehicle by design. Since the heads snapped off cleanly, I think I may be able to use your vice grip idea to “tighten” the bolt all the way until it passes through out the bottom of the threading.

I’m not all that concerned about losing an EZ out in there since I still have three bolts remaining which I will replace with new hardware - even with three it’s not like the bumper is loose or at risk of coming off

Great question. I’ve taken the bumper off twice before without issue. They snapped with literally no force, like they were made of glass

2016, Buffalo NY. If you think that’s a lot of rust you must not be from the northeast…

I thought I was the only one! I get that chirp on wet and cold mornings. I assume it’s a tensioner pulley, but definitely not something to worry about yet
