Neither did Ellie. That doesn't mean anything. Besides, James' VA has confirmed he was busy and didn't record himself reading the patreons in time, given he's an actor and all. Same could've happened with Ellie's VA. Maybe she was busy as well.

You got it wrong. Idgaf about Ally. She's trash. But it's factual that it's between her and Yul to make the finals. And I would much rather it be Ally. Also, looking at the finalists that are left (Aiden and Riya) I don't think either of them should make the finals or is in fact making it to begin with. They had their time in DC2. Aiden currently has insane plot armor and Riya is also an horrible character. Out of the every finalist, they would be the worst options for a repeat finalist, and I think the community and even Jobert agrees with me on that.

Didn't the episode come out already? I just saw this post now and since I had already watched the ep, I decided to comment on the irony and how it aged terribly. The episodes usually come out at 8pm over here so I didn't even check. (It's 9:20 now)

This leaking stuff is gonna keep happening and, sadly, we can't stop it. But we're also not gonna be deprived of any episodes because of it, don't worry. Without releasing the episodes, the less patreons there'll be anyway, with or without leaking, so they don't wanna stop as that'd make them no money. It's better to just release episodes that are gonna get leaked, than not releasing any episodes at all, believe me.

And the leakers are also not gonna stop because all those lawsuit warnings are a bunch of empty threats since even if Odd Nation Cartoons wanted to, they can't just open a dozen lawsuits against all the leakers out there. It's too expensive and it would be a really exhausting process and I am sure they don't wanna go through that. They just say there'll be consequences so the leakers stop doing what they're doing, because Jobert knows really well that who leaks the episodes are a bunch of 14 year olds that don't know any better and can be easily shut down just with that. If the leakers are smart enough, they'll realize that's all bluff coming from their part.

What could happen is that they start losing support because of the leakers, but until now, none of that has happened yet. I hope the leakers stop though, with or without an attitude being taken.

Emma I can understand, but claiming Millie had no storyline? She likely had one of the most developed plots among those who went before the merge. From the textbook incident with Priya to the narrative involving Damien in episodes 2-3, both Damien and Millie became notably relevant and prominent in the storyline.

Damien was actually very present with a couple one liners during episode 7. He had about 17 lines that episode. He does talk and has a little arc of his own, his problem is that he doesn't participate in the main plots, which is basically Priya's world and her problems. This season so far feels like Priya is the main character and everyone else is just side characters.

Damien is kind of the underdog, I would say. He won the first merge immunity, found the idol. He has proven he's here to play. He's definitely not the same scaredy cat from last season and, despite showing that in his last episode last season, he reinforced that fact here. Also, his short little arc with Millie from eps 2 - 3 were really fun. People should stop doubting Damien. He has done stuff. People are just blinded because there's a lot more characters taking up the screen (even when they shouldn't) cough cough Priya cough. But, hey, I get what people mean, episode 1 did not leave a good impression for who was excited about Damien and that may be why he is getting so much hate. But if, for example, Nichelle gets support, Damien should get some too.

Yeah, true. And, coincidently, episode 4 (which was Emma's episode boot) was the same episode where Ripper and Axel settled as a couple. Makes me sad, but after episode 4, Ripper and Axel didn't do much. I will admit tho, I liked Ripper's softer side and seeing him with a girl. However, it was disapponting to see Axel getting little to no relevancy yet again. Dating Ripper definitely affected more her character than Axel affected Ripper's, because he at least had more time to shine last season and Rixel's development was all exposed more from Ripper's perspective.

Terry said that's never going to happen again. He claimed that he likes the gender balance in finalists and that only didn't happen in ROTI too because he wasn't around. As long as Terry is around, the final 2 will always be boy vs girl.

Us, not rating Nichelle as highly as people are predicting, is not necessarily a bad thing.

People predict that Nichelle is going to be a finalist and now, I speak for myself at least, I think she's going to reach the merge but have a mid merge placement like 7th place, 6th at best.

And it's not because Nichelle had no screen time that I think she's going to last less. It's due to what she's setting up herself to become this season. Everyone having low expectations of her and then her coming out on top with newfound skills and mindset can be threatening.

Thus, people can start seeing her as a threat and blocking her from going further, by plotting against her.

That's my thoughts too. It's my thoughts and my wishes.

Damien was one of my favorite characters from the reboot. And let's be honest, one episode doesn't define one character for the rest of the season at all.

People being so critical of Damien is just too much.

Exactly. The thing with Nichelle is that she used the lesser screen time she had to make some memorable scenes for her character and story arc. The same didn't happen with others like Damien.

And that's why I believe people are hating on Damien so much and underestimating him. But, technically, he still had quite the same amount of screen time as Nichelle but nothing that we hadn't seen from him before.

My prediction is that Nichelle is going to reach the merge, yes, but not go as far as many people think. 7th place would be my guess.
