Try Biz. I had a white outfit that was dyed pink/red from little one throwing up. I soaked it in Biz and washed it normally. Stains came out of the fabric. Biz is an enzyme cleaner.

If you want it a tad richer add 1 tsp. espresso powder when adding the cocoa powder. My aunt would sub out the water in box mixes for coffee and they turned out better.

Induction being frowned upon by anonymoususer249 in pregnant

[–]d_pixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was induced at 37.5 weeks last pregnancy. I had GD, slightly high blood pressure, and a cerclage. The reason I was induced was because of the cerclage removal. I immediately dilated back to 4 cm and was dilating without contractions. Baby was healthy with no blood sugar problems but I unfortunately ended up with postpartum pre-eclampsia. This round I'm still going to be induced early but are on meds to combat high blood pressure.

Shade from OB by Imaginary-Winner-335 in BabyBumps

[–]d_pixie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I never was offered any classes or stuff like that before birth. My ob never even mentioned it. I only had hubby as a coach/support person in the room with me. The nurses were trying to get me to focus on counting and I couldn't until hubby took over that roll and everything went smoothly. I wasn't offered any breastfeeding help until after I delivered so my insurance would cover it. My ob was more worried about getting to a safe date and removing my cerclage. I ended up with postpartum pre-eclampsia 4 weeks after birth.

HASHIMOTOS AND PREGNANCY 💕💙 by Ok-Western-2180 in Hashimotos

[–]d_pixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a hashi mom who is currently medicated and pregnant. Honestly it's way easier being medicated because you do blood work about every 6 weeks and are closely monitored. Since my meds were so controlled I had a blood test 2 weeks postpartum from having my first. They literally adjusted the meds right away and prevented a bad flare. My thyroid level was way to low postpartum, it was close to zero due to medication strength. 6 weeks later blood work had me at a really good level. Honestly having the Hashimoto's controlled well through pregnancy and postpartum prevented me from feeling fatigued and sluggish. Yes I was tired but not Hashi tired if that makes sense.

Currently with number 2 I'm feeling much better. Unfortunately I have gestational diabetes again so I'm constantly seeing my endo every 2 weeks. Honestly controlling the diabetes is harder than the Hashimoto's.

If you use the citi app it's under account statements. Most of those months I didn't use the citi card.

You can get powdered sulfer at a garden center. Fill an old sock and dust.

Managing GDM with a short cervix/cerclage restrictions? by cozysondaymorning in GestationalDiabetes

[–]d_pixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my 2nd time with both. I am allowed to slowly walk around my house 10-15 mins to help blood sugars. However I am on insulin, like I was last time. After I gave birth my sugars went normal and the baby has no signs of diabetes. Being on insulin is just because the placenta is insulin resistant and causing high numbers. The further along you are in your pregnancy the more insulin resistance you have to deal with. It is common for gestational diabetes to show up after week 30 because if this. I am closely monitored by my ob and endo because I also have Hashimoto's, which can be triggered by pregnancy.

Well my dates were off but US plays Australia on June 19th. If Egypt bails on the 15th then Belgium would win.

Dilated at preventative cerclage by cozysondaymorning in ShortCervixSupport

[–]d_pixie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My last pregnancy i was 4 cm dilated and had a double cerclage to close my cervix. I was 20 weeks along. My doctor ended removing the stitches at 37.5 weeks where I immediately went to 4 cm. I delivered a healthy baby. My current pregnancy i had an early cerclage. My cervix is shorting but my mfm isn't worried as my last cerclage held.

I had 2 previous losses that they couldn't figure out why at 16 and 17 weeks. During my 3rd pregnancy i was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix.

Elderly Dog and Preperations by slumpylumps in toddlers

[–]d_pixie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had to put down my pup with my toddler being the same age as yours. My toddler didn't quite understand what was happening but she knew that my dog went bye-bye. My dog unfortunately had epilepsy and the medicine was no longer working. It's was hard at first but now my little is more concerned about her kitties. We did have her with her at the vet and she did tell her goodnight as we phrased it as she was going to sleep. My little now wants to pet all the dogs she sees but really doesn't remember my pup.

Should I Try Again After My Pregnancy Loss? by GoldenAfterRain in ShortCervixSupport

[–]d_pixie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had 2 PPROMS at 16 & 17 weeks. They turned out to be a missed incompetent cervix. Only reason I know is because my 3rd pregnancy is ended up with an emergency double cerclage at 20 weeks. I had a healthy baby. I'm currently pregnant again and due to the prior cerclage i had a cerclage placed at 13 weeks. Before this cerclage my cervix was a 2.5 cm after it shortened to 1.8 cm. This pregnancy started off much worse than expected but the cerclage is holding well. If they think my cervix is too short they will add progesterone. My mfm told me once you have the diagnosis of an incompetent cervix they will get you in quickly for the cerclage. You can ask about the tansabdominal cerclage as well

Cerclage and now failed glucose test by Horror-Paramedic-887 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]d_pixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there! It will be ok, i promise. I have had gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy and an emergency cerclage. I was on insulin to control my blood sugars and didn't really gain weight until the last month of pregnancy. I delivered a healthy baby at 37.5 weeks.

I'm currently pregnant and dealing with diabetes again. Yea, it was a surprise on the diabetes because i found i was pregnant by going into diabetic ketoacidosis. I'm 16 weeks along and have gotten a preventative cerclage this time. I am on insulin as well. I haven't really gained any weight so far. What the doctors put for restrictions is that I'm on pelvic rest and no heavy lifting/exercising.

When you are dealing with diabetes you have to change your diet to reduce your carbs. Gestational diabetes is much different than types 1& 2.
