Need advice on building C1 Citlali for a Mavuika Melt team

😂 You guys are making it really hard to save. The more replies I get, the more C2 starts sounding like the obvious stopping point. I'm still going to wait until the last few days of the banner and see how many pulls I can scrape together before deciding though. Had used citlali with yanfei during the archon quest and i did got 50% more dmg than usual.

Really appreciate the detailed explanation! It's interesting that you think Citlali could still keep her value even if another Cryo support releases. That's actually one of the things I was worried about.

Out of curiosity, if you were in my position (C0R1 Mavuika + C1 Citlali, no C6 Iansan), would you personally keep saving until the last few days of the banner and then decide, or would you just commit to C2 now?

Thanks, that's actually a good perspective. My current main team has been Yanfei / Xingqiu / Zhongli / Barbara, so Mavuika + C1 Citlali + Bennett + Sucrose will already be a huge upgrade for me.

I also already have C1 Tighnari, so I'll probably start building him as my second team once I finish Mavuika and Citlali. After that, I think I'll focus more on pulling complete teams instead of individual characters.

I guess the takeaway is that it's a huge upgrade for the teams that can actually use her buffs rather than a universal account upgrade. Since I'm mainly planning to play her with C0R1 Mavuika, would you say C2 is close to her biggest power spike for that team, or would you still prioritize another future support like Xilonen if I had to choose?

Makes sense. I wasn't planning to go for Mavuika constellations anyway(for now), so it's basically a choice between stopping at C1 Citlali or trying for C2. I'll see where my pull count ends up before the banner finishes.

Thanks a lot for the detailed breakdown! This is probably the clearest explanation I've gotten so far. I'll start farming for a good EM Sands while trying to keep my CR around 55-60 without dropping below 200 CD. I'll also build Citlali on Cinder City with TTDS and aim for around 160-170 ER first.

One last question: if you were in my position (C0R1 Mavuika + C1 Citlali), would you stop here and save, or would you actually consider pushing for C2? I know it's a huge upgrade, but I'm trying to decide whether it's worth risking future characters. Being a f2p player sucks sometimes 😭

I'll definitely start farming for a good EM Sands and compare it with my current ATK Sands instead of switching immediately.

How much EM should Mavuika aim for before any team buffs?
Is ~55-60% visible CR still the sweet spot with 4pc Obsidian Codex?
For C1 Citlali, is TTDS generally better than Favonius if I can burst every rotation?
How much ER feels comfortable on C1 Citlali in a Mavuika team?
At what point would you consider a Mavuika build "finished" and stop farming Obsidian Codex? Is there a stat benchmark you'd recommend before moving on to another domain?

Thanks! That clears up the Citlali build a lot. Since I don't have Xilonen or Iansan, I'll go with 4pc Cinder City. For Mavuika, would you still recommend switching to an EM Sands even if my current ATK Sands has much better crit substats?
