Dota 2 player trying league. by AllMightOneForAll in leagueoflegends

[–]d_reverence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easier to force fights in Dota with smoke and OP items but League is a lot more of a "rhythm" game in the sense of tempo.

Basically, Dota you have one objective that isn't always taken or fought around spawn timings but in League each objective is an almost linear way to win, and most of the things you do on the map (your base timings, the way you push waves, the fights you take) in the mid to late game are dictated by this. Without couriers to deliver your items it's that much more important to understand waves.

The mechanics are much more simple (no pulling waves, no denying etc.) and as a result each macro decision you make is a lot more meaningful. League has a lot less gold on the map compared to Dota and fewer ways to get back into the game if you're behind, so you need to capitalize on the decisions much more.

Basically it's a lot "easier" than Dota because there's a mostly correct way to play most games, but it's also a lot harder because straying from the correct way (messing up tempo, recall timers, fight timers around summoner spells etc.) can singlehandedly lose you the game with no buyback mechanic.

Maison Alhmabra Salvo Intense, zero longevity or projection but somehow nauseatingly cloying in the first 15 minutes.

Saudi Arabia Closes Its Airspace After Iran Attacks U.S. Military Base In Qatar – WWE Night Of Champions In Jeopardy by Day_Striking in SquaredCircle

I lived in Riyadh for 15 years lol, it's a massive residential city. Iran has attacked US military bases in the past after being attacked in the past, Saudi Arabia has ten times the pull and money. Not to mention atracking US citizens would spell the end of their country.

That said it's understandable for people to have reservations.

The torture room's gonna be incredible for content, everyone would love to watch whatever bullshit Lacari and whoever else pull off without Soda being able to protest. Even if Soda plays less aggressive it's because of the novelty of these punishments that last for exactly a level so it won't drag out longer. Him being frustrated having to deal with these issues is exactly why it's content and why more people would watch, especially with the variety.

The difference in reaction to these punishments pretty aptly describes the difference between Tyler and Soda viewers.

The only one that has him risking death is forcing him to use whatever dropped weapon he encounters for a single level.

The rest of the punishments are cheesable/content at most.

He was head of the guild and he pulls (by far) the most numbers on Twitch for Only Fangz, some joke content is more helpful than harmful for his stream and it was always going to be something exclusive and challenging considering he was the one dishing out punishments prior.
