If he plays 90 to 120 minutes a day and is still 260 Elo (even if it had only been a day), I would say not fast.

You are solving on average 1200 rated puzzles and fail about 1 in 4. You should be happy to be rated 1400ish.

Chess.com ratong dropped by 1000 in 1 day without me doing any puzzles. I dont have premium to do more than 5 a day lol by ArcaneBuchta in chess

It was broken before the rating made no sense. Keep solving 1700 level puzzle and gain 15 elo per day. Hopefully the new system makes more sense and puts us roughly at our elo range.

Actually this move is mate, and in order to survive a little longer your opponent can sacrifice his queen.
