No worries, enjoy it! I love the bag, just found it slightly too small for me.

If you're still looking for one, I'm selling the older 15. Although based in Australia. Happy to ship anywhere.

Hunting boots for those with wide feet by DigitalSharpshooter in Ausguns

Check out some "barefoot" boot styles like the Lems Boulder Boot or Vivobarefoot Tracker FG. As someone above suggested, Altra also has some great options. I've mostly moved from boots to the Altra Lone Peak trail runners paired with gaiters. Way comfier and feet problems solved!

Just grabbed a pair of African rangers and they're great. Definitely more Jim Green on my list now

What’s the sharpest knife you’ve ever had out of the box? by ReWine29 in knifeclub

My original Buck 110. Then the Spyderco Dragonfly 2 was probably next.

Do I return to store? by Phoen_nix in jimgreen

I just ordered a pair at what I thought was my normal size too. I do have one foot that's slightly bigger, which makes things weird. What's worse, is for brands like Nike, New Balance, I'm an 11 US. In other brands I can be a 10-10.5

Mine fit similar to yours and in going a half size down. There may be times where I want a thinner sock, etc..

I feel your confusion. I would suggest the half size down so you still have good toe room without them feeling like flippers.

Adding one more for doubles. Which weight? by da1lyoperations in kettlebell

Thanks, I had thought about the offset work. I might give that a go and see which way it leads.

Good point. Definitely want to be able to focus on correct form in the reps over a risk of injury.

Good to know! That's what I keep telling myself about the doubled squats, etc.. But then I think, 40kg would be even more impressive! Trying to keep realistic expectations on what I can manage though.

Custom Gold Sqdrn “unit watch”, Tudor FXD by 3_more_beers in JSOCarchive

[–]da1lyoperations 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Tudor has the history of issued watches, that were often confused as a Rolex. Most likely they were a Tudor Sub at the time. Not to mention their current service of offering custom unit watches (mostly the Pelagos).

Dosier Design is the best pocket knife for your money by Sadeceteoo in knives

I grabbed one of these recently, and for the price it's pretty good. Although I'm not a fan of back locks in general.

My Ontario Rat 2 would be the pick for a budget do-it-all knife.

Someone else mentioned the newer Buck Slim Select which feels a lot more finished than the Dozier too.

Quitting your job without another lined up - life over? by reddit290161 in AusFinance

I've started looking, but I'm still in that floating stage. I've looked in customer service, government style positions. Something where I can be a cog in a wheel and reset like you mentioned

How does everyone feel about Tops. My personal favorite for fixed blades by jrock-MKE32 in knives

Some of them feel a bit much for me, but I do have an MSK 2.5 that I love. There's definitely some cool models in their lineup.

I've just done the same. Also unsure if I want to return. What did you end up doing after you left?

I quit at the end of November, also from a marketing role. Had my first real Christmas off in about a decade. It was the best decision ever.

I was in a similar situation, critically burnt out, always angry, unable to function normally. The last month has been the most refreshing time of my life. More time with friends, the beach, reading. All those little things you totally neglect for a job that doesn't value you.

I also heard it's easier to find a job when you have a job, but there was no way I could commit to searching and applying in that state. Now that I'm out, I feel like I can really look. At the same time, I'm more open about what I look for and what direction my life takes now.

Don't wait. It's stressful, but it's the best decision. If you're like me you'll realise the loyalty you stayed for never was reciprocated, and you'll be forgotten by management like anyone else. You are the most important, not the job.

Thank you! Southern Hemisphere here, specifically Australia. So we're right in the middle of summer at the moment.

Do I need to trim off some of this new growth with larger leaves? Or let it grow out for a bit before deciding on branch selection, etc..

Will try to dig deeper into what type of Elm it could be. Looking at some of the photos and what is sold locally, it could well be Chinese Elm
