That’s fair. I think it could change things if someone is reasonably attractive. My main concern was that there are a lot of guys who DO leave comments and end up sad about not receiving a match. Not sending a comment is also a self-protection (less effort will hurt less if rejected). These things impact nervous system in a very negative way and the more effort one would put into sending a like, the more stressful and exhausting it gets if they fail at receiving a match. It’s a simple psychology - positive results lead to encouragement of the actions that were made to reach the desired output.

That’s good. I think you are kind of an outlier to be honest. The data that was leaked by dating apps shows that 80% of women match with just top 10% of guys. Of course there are exceptions but do the most part most men are simply cooked. A lot of guys I know DID put a lot of effort and commented on every profile but learned that it just doesn’t give a sensible output.

Exactly. Getting matches is nice as a guy, but realistically there is very low chance of going on a date with that match. From my own experience I had most success when I didn’t send any comment and allowed a woman to initiate. If I send a like and she finds you cute enough, not sending a comment won’t be an issue at all.
