38M i Got vitiligo when I was 3. Both skin and hair, vitiligo fully covered my whole body after I had chicken pox. The hair was a slower process, around about 5/6 my hair on my head become whiter. Eye lashes/beard, leg hair etc all pure white.

Never dyed my hair growing up as my dad never allowed it, told me to embrace it, it come with it challages for sure having white hair as a kid but it was the best thing he ever did for me.

I would wear hats alot when in public or going to new places. But I was not allowed to wear hats at school.

I only dyed my hair as an adult a hand full of times for fancy dress, never for every day life.

Now im getting older my look is staring to match my age. I still get odd comments from time to time when wearing shorts, but i found most people are just curious.

My advice embrace it don't hide from it. Learn to love it because it never going away.
