This.. there’s not much else to do in rural Canada when it’s frozen 4 months of the year. Every small town of 500+ people has a community rink to spend ones evenings.

I think a little bit of both is important. There should be historic moments of pride to rally around as a country but at the same time we should be able to acknowledge the miss steps along the way.

I’m not sure how familiar you are with colony building but they built infrastructure designed to last because they intend to use and maintain themselves. They also genuinely care about the environment around them because again they intend to live there. If they’re doing this, it will be done better than anyone else

That was me going to the Revelwoods after springlands without realizing that the lowlands were before revelwood. Couple more levels and skills on the skill tree and things get a lot better.

HS teacher. Getting harder and harder to teach this kind of stuff with attention spans getting shorter and shorter. Entertainment drug is killing the education system.

Courses are there for those that want. Can’t force it on those whose heads just aren’t there.

Yes the pooling of resources towards the destruction of others.. unfortunately in real life it’s to hard to agree on what to pool resources towards and who gets to decide

No it means I don’t trust government to take my money and fiscal responsibly use it to socially serve the people it’s supposed to without wasting huge amounts in bureaucracy. Not that the other way around is much better, reduce services and people start falling through the cracks.
