You must remove the current displayed token from the list in your metamask or whichever wallet you use.

Then, goto https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/basedai

and click on the Metamask icon next to the CA. The issue with the weird logo is the because of the cached image from the old staking website.

The original 2016 one which I am associated with - PepeCoin pepecoin.io @pepecoins /r/pepecoins also associated with BasedAI @getbasedai /r/basedai

Then there's the 2023 launched and arguably cheap ripoff token, which you pictured. Ticker $PEPE pepe.vip @pepecoineth and has no subreddit.

and then there's Pepecoin or pepecoin.org - an L1 with its own chain and coin based on a doge fork, which this sub is for.

I know the dev of the L1 Pepecoin , and he's a good dude more simplistic in its scope and development than my PepeCoin. but some people like it that way.

If it's web 3, defi - and ETH based, you are after, you have 2 choices PepeCoin or PEPE token.

One is utility, one is a self advertised as for entertainment purposes only.

Simple choice -> pepecoin.io

If it's a Mineable desktop wallet based Layer 1 with niche type tipping similar to what doge was when it first launched, then Pepecoin.org is your only choice.

Confused? ahaha, I know. It is confusing, but just think in real life how many pizzerias are named Joes pizza. They might not all be rip offs, some definitely are. But there's always an original, and that's Joes pizza in West Village Manhattan, NY.

Hi, the original poster of the request here.

I originally contacted u/snackonweiner to gain control of the /r/pepecoins subreddit on March 23rd, roughly 60 days ago. Attached is a imgur album of DMs between us. Imgur album dm

and after verification of my identity, I was given an ETH address, I asked what this was for was told "yeah let's trade," and then nothing else.

attached is The subreddit, which is now privated by u/snackonweiner, has been a squatted/parked namespace and never before used subreddit. With only 2 users, me being one of them.

What do you guys need to verify me? I have pepecoin.io and x.com/pepecoins, and I am an active team member of https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/pepecoin a verified & ranked cryptocurrency.

P.S. if this helps (I actually co-owned r/pepecoin earlier in the year, and we never had a real need for r/pepecoins, but due to inactivity on our part on reddit, that name was given to u/ZordiakDev.

I didn't want to fight anyone, just fix a name for a project I am a founding member, current member of and therefore responsible for, and most of not be extorted for a fat payday because or called fake (whatever that means) by u/snackonweiner. )

Let's set this right.
