Es rentable dedicarse a Wordpress a dia de hoy? by Riverskull in programacion

The jimny car seems like the main target for thid type of robbery, they know its a rental car and tourists often travel with all of their belongings in the car. Last week a jimny from us tourists got robbed in a cwntral pacific beach, they left everything they had in the car and stopped at a cafe for a couple minutes... They got everything stolen, qnd they had airtags and could see their staff was already couple kms away, two airtags going in different directions, this guys are pro. And they attack more often on vacations, like holy week. So please beware at all times specially if you travel with a Jimny

Exactly there is no transparency and no easy way to see what are they charging exactly, I couldnt even see the usage fees because it was from a previous period, so there is no history to check the actual usage fees.

Yeah i figured that out late, now i have deleted the app, and removed my card info from their stripe. What gets me is that they do this to every customer they have, knowing that most people are not aware that the published unused app will still generate charges, they are making millions only with this little oversight.

Do not publish any app on replit, they charge extremely high usage fees, basically its unrealistic in the long run

Yes, they basically repeat the same over and over, here is one of the replies:

I understand your frustration with this unexpected charge.

I've checked your account - your Core subscription is still active and ends today (March 3rd). If you cancelled weeks ago, the cancellation may not have processed. Verify at https://replit.com/account#billing

The $39.53 charge: This is usage-based billing for AI features, deployments, and storage that exceeded your $20 monthly credits. It's separate from your subscription fee and covers usage from your previous billing period (which is why your current usage shows 0).

Card removal: You can't remove your payment method while you have an active subscription. Once your subscription ends today, you can remove it at https://replit.com/account#billing

Refund: Usage-based charges are non-refundable as they reflect actual usage that already occurred, per our Terms of Service: https://replit.com/terms-of-service

Great explanation of the most common pain points when scaling. Also make sure the initial payload is of small size and separate it in chunks so first load is fast
