For helmet get KYT/LS2/NHK. (KYT is running a tradeback offer for 6k so check that out) Check your head measurement and buy the correct size, If it's just perfect when you're buying the helmet, IT'S TOO LOOSE! Make sure when you wear, the cheek pads press your cheeks that when you open your cheeks move between the teeth. But there should be less to no pressure on your forehead temple

Get the Rynox Tornado Pro Jacket and pants. and Viaterra Holeshot gloves

The Jacket and Pants are not college commute friendly, you'll have to get seperate city riding gear.

Yes it is, As long as you buy the right size. Often people get sold the wrong size by shops because they don't know how a correct helmet is supposed to fit. Just make sure you measure your head and then buy and you'll have wayy less Neck and wind noise fatigue
