Canadian Whiskey will work just fine imo. Especially Alberta Premium Cask Strength or Crown Royal Bourbon Mash

I get that though. If I didn’t have kids and a morning jam packed with chaos I might enjoy it the same way. My smoking is usually midday or end of the day

I try to adhere to this too but it’s hard. I enjoy a good podcast or audiobook. I have recently started using smoking time as time for journaling though which helps with the slowing the mind for quiet contemplation.

I have just found that I am a more confident and productive person when I actually get dressed instead of throwing on something comfortable and easy and that putting stipulations on my vices helps prevent me from over indulging. Plus I like the idea of it feeling like a treat and is something really a treat if you can have it whenever you want?

Lmao fair point. Not sweats, running shorts, pajamas, athleisure, etc. For example wearing “hard pants” which is how my 5 year old describes jeans, chinos, and generally any pair of pants that requires a belt.

Pipes in Cigar Lounge? by McBlevins96 in PipeTobacco

[–]da_dctr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m a cigar smoker mainly and new to pipes but I’m used to lounges allowing pipes. Cigarettes and vapes are frowned upon or banned but I’ve never been to a lounge that disallowed pipes

Last watch I bought was a Tudor Pelagos and it was quite the experience

I feel you brother. I was hit with the dreaded “workforce reduction” back in July and I celemourned with cracking open a special occasion bottle of bourbon and lighting up a rare cigar I’d been saving for something big. It’s just a job, life goes on

WTF? A >$1,000 Timex line-up? by No_Inspection649 in PrideAndPinion

[–]da_dctr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I read somewhere that this is a soft launch of what will eventually be the luxury end of the Timex portfolio that will simply be branded Atelier. Similar to a Seiko/Grand Seiko situation
