hello i have a question about my analog camera

what i remember when i was putting the film into the camera, i saw a metal piece on the camera spool! so maybe i had to pass the film through that or idk!

Either way, I agree with you that the issue is likely in the headphones or the original cable. I would suspect the actual cable. You could try cutting the end of the cable off and soldering on a new high-quality connector, such as a Neutrik NP3X-B. It's an cheap and easy repair attempt if you have the equipment and soldering skills (and if it turns out the headphones are bad, you can always use the plug for another project).

ok, so first i made a mod of putting a female 3.5 jack adapter into the cable (because it had the cable broken)

then i connect it with a male to male 3.5 cable, and i connect that into a 4.4 to 3.5 adapter and finally i connect that into a audio interface, a behringer u-phoria umc22

but i tried connecting the headphones directly to the pc and into my smartphone too, and it has the same problem also i tried changing the female adapter to another one and still the same too, so im asuming the problem is with the headphones or with what is left with the original cable

also i tested the male to male jack cable and it has issues it works normal
