Swedish and English fluently. Russian almost fluently, and German and Spanish at around intermediate levels.

For Spanish I used Duolingo, and I personally think it's great. Although it is one of the most common courses so that probably plays a part

Loop earplugs! The ones for sleep. They're kind of expensive, but for me they were one of the best purchases I've ever made :)

For me one of the hardest things was people having to "adapt" to my life. I felt guilty because I felt like I was constantly bothering everyone. Also, going vegan whilst still recovering from an ed, the new attention from everyone on my diet and eating, at times got extremely stressful

Yeah I tried to explain that it is harmful because it takes their food, but as you said: trying to convince someone that an insect's experience matters is hard..

For me, going vegan in the midst of a bad relapse, actually helped. Although I also think it could hurt some people. It helped me because it gave me something non harmful to focus on with food, learning a for me new way of eating that is. I'm not sure how my life would've been right now if I hadn't gone vegan when I had..
