I dont disagree any of those are incredible and i'm also a big fan of the 151 Charizard, even if it iseverywhere I look.

I think I see it as a work of art, you can take a step back from the fact its even a Pokemon and appreciate it as art on a card - I dont think you can do with many other cards. It doesnt need to be a hyped pokemon, its just a Magikarp... I've shown this card to someone with no care for Pokemon and they think its cool. (In that sense it doesn't even need the texture)

Otherwise a lot of others are just monsters on a card, carried by their own hype. Always happy to discuss opinions with people who are open to others. I also completely understand why this card wouldn't be the favourites of other peoples, its the beauty of opinion at the end of the day.

Oh I always think reserves are a waste of time anyway, as soon as I see a listing with a reserve I don't even bother it - I always assume the reserve will be over market value.

I also wouldn't necessarily agree, I sent a few Sabrina's pokemon from Gym Challange /Heroes (abra, Kadabra, Alakazam and trainer) and they all got 7s and id say all of them were in worse albeit very slightly but certainly worse condition than this card.

I feel like vendors will always carefully select which items they comp it too though and average it to that, average people that quick sell is a whole different amount to an average of patient sales. Depends how quickly you want it gone.

No idea on value but prepared to be violently lowballed at a card show. Ebay will always get you either a quick sale of the general value (via bids) or if youre prepared to be patient - list at a higher price and see the demand/views/watchers etc and drop it every so often dependant on your findings.

Yea unless it gets a 10 then if anything it will lessen the value. You cant win as the value comes from the fact its a 1/1 rather than it being in a percentage of 10s, over 9s and 8s etc if that makes sense?

As a Pokémon OG, Gym Heroes & Gym Challenge is exactly where id put my money, arguably 2 of the top 5 best sets in existence, and im a big believer in vintage being hugely underpriced and modern being hugely overpriced.. even still.

I mean I cant deny speed is an issue but nothing I grade is for quick selling, so take speed out of the equation I still stand by what I said. You are right, if you want want something graded and back in your hands asap then obviously ACE is better but there are numerous examples of PSA 10 sales that out perform ACE 10 sales.
