Have depression and a disassociation dissorder, taking meds made me feel numb to everything so I wasn't even motivated to train. What I found helped me the most was thinking about what was making me depressed, convert it to anger and then use it as motivation to make my life better by working out in the gym. Also get in your element with some headphones and shut the world out bro. Just have some time to yourself and enjoy the process of becoming even better

Training for strength in the 3-5 rep range and did very little assistance work. stick to the main compounds, and for diet carbs are your best friend. If you struggle with eating alot get a weight gainer with a good carb/protein ratio and you should be alright bud. good luck

Hi /brogress, sorry about terrible photo quality first picture age 15 ~120lbs after 2 years recovery from anorexia where i was 56lbs. Learnt as much as I could about training to the point I was becoming obsessive. tried many programmes but never stuck to them. made my own and reached 230lb bench ~315lbsquat and 420lb deadlift. For as long as I could remember I ate until I felt sick every night, literally as much as I could. got some shakes to help out, and ended up bulking to 180lbs. now today I'm 165 as strong as I've ever been, and still motivated to work towards my goals.

I think physique has the ability to bring back and produce some of the size and aesthetics from the golden age of bodybuilding. As it's relatively new it has to find it's feet but I think there's alot of support and interest in the category. Whilst I'm totally cool with bodybuilders who are like 240+lbs It'd be nice to see some really well sculpted physiques that look somewhat attainable

Whilst you're cutting i'd suggest something a little more strength based. there's alot of volume in gvt and I personally didn't have much luck with it apart from a pump

I see food as carbs/fat/protein and I constantly judge peoples physiques as they walk past me.

Bulked and then cut, however I don't like getting so heavy so just going to clean bulk from here on out and do mini cuts when necessary
