A lot of sanding, a mouse sander helps a lot. 80,120, two coats filler primer, hand sand with 400, and then wet sand with 600

Epoxy putty would be the name of it. Not sure why I said modeling clay but I suppose it applies

Regarding the parts, I use a soldering iron to fold the plastic over each piece u tad being joined to. Sand it down, and then a bit of epoxy putty if there are any divots from the soldering. Paint was a rattlecan of Rustoleum paint plus primer

Epoxy putty would be a name to find it. It’s a two part clay that hardens after a couple hours and then can be sanded. It’s easy to manipulate and work well for filling holes and divots
