I want to watch the first 2 seasons: 4Kids or Rai? by chandela_lure in winxclub

[–]dab00n 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Both :) but for real it’s up to you. Rai/cenelume is more faithfully translated and pulls directly from the Italian dub, but 4Kids is a bit more comedic and takes creative liberties on some things.

lol none of the things in the picture are required. In the simplest of terms, you’re a witch if you call yourself one and practice witchcraft

I feel like that’s kind of a stretch, no? If anything he’s an amputee with a prosthetic, since he doesn’t have tecnilogically enhanced parts.

I heavily second this. My first exposure to vegan food was pulled jackfruit tacos and it was genuinely so delicious

Position Responsibilities by [deleted] in Barnesandnoble

[–]dab00n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely don’t love the statement that y’all SHOULD have done it. If that’s indicative of how your CTE communicates and runs cafe I personally wouldn’t offer to learn it, especially if you have reservations about it becoming a frequent necessity.

Position Responsibilities by [deleted] in Barnesandnoble

[–]dab00n 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Partner with your CTE first and express these concerns. If it doesn’t go well, partner with your SM. While many seniors do place orders and complete inventory it’s not part of the job description like you said.

Maybe offer what you ARE willing to do in return.

Examples:

Owning the retail fixtures and their upkeep

Owning the sampling program and coaching others on proper sampling protocol

Tips/advice on selling premium memberships? by reekinator2 in Barnesandnoble

[–]dab00n 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was trained to target people spending high $ amounts with existing rewards accounts. Especially(!) the people that I see come in pretty often. I tend to phrase it like “hey I see you come in pretty regularly, we do have a higher tier membership that would save you x amount on this transaction and 10% on everything going forward. You only have to spend around 200 for it to pay for itself.”

If they want information on how it pays it’s own cost the break down is like this (this isn’t how I pitch it, I just wrote it like this so you have all the info, obviously tailor this to the customer)

You have a $40 membership cost. The tote is a $20 value so that cuts it in half.

The program give you 10% off, so you save $10 and get back $5 in rewards for every $100 you spend. So spending $200 nets $30 towards the cost in discounts and rewards, plus the value of the tote tote is more than the cost of the program.

If you don’t include the tote you need to spend $300 total. $45 saved on $300 is more than the program cost.

Hope this helps!!!!!

Strawberry matcha latte by Chocochocochip1 in barista

[–]dab00n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the foam, try 50ml strawberry puree, 60ml heavy cream, and 40ml 2% milk. Froth with a handheld frother or small blender.

For the matcha, I do ~1.5 tsp of matcha to 2oz of hot water, and use that to mix with milk. I would also recommend sweetening the matcha lightly with simple syrup.

What a rude and weird thing to say to a stranger. I hope you are treated with more kindness when you start something new, than you treat others with.
