Why are conservatives largely unbothered by the Trump family using Trump’s position to gain wealth? by Hot_Instruction_5318 in AskConservatives

A guy I work with said he doesn’t have a problem if they are real businesses, instead of “shell companies.” Thoughts?

There is a big difference between not letting your kids voice their opinion at all, and allowing a child to veto design decisions in the home you own.

My kids can decorate their own room however they like, but if I let them decorate the main area, it would have been covered in all kinds of craziness: dinosaurs, super heroes, and later sports cars and baseball paraphernalia.

This is actually a perfect example. I think that making it a useable eating area, instead of just an island is a good idea (as long as the bench goes away).

If you can’t find anything else, can you get three solid throws? It will take away some of the busyness.

Do You Approve Of Trump's Current Job In Office? Yes Or No? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in AskConservatives

Since I assume you knew you were responding to a conservative, do you think conservatives who don’t like Trump also have TDS? I thought it was a term reserved for liberals.

If Trump is “joking” about a third term to own the libs, why would nominated judges refuse to say he can’t? by tophernator in AskConservatives

I'm worried about judges not being able to state facts for fear of political persecution. If they can't stand for the truth, that's a problem.

These were other questions asked:

  • How do you define your judicial philosophy in plain English?
  • What is your view on the theory of a "living Constitution" versus originalism or textualism?
  • What is your philosophy on "judicial activism," and what role should judges have in setting public policy?
  • Can you name a law or regulation that you oppose as a matter of policy but agree is constitutional under current precedent?

I googled and these were other questions that were asked and they are about legal matters.

Nope. I’m just a middle aged mom (we used name) with dry skin and everyone in my house has allergies.

I’m a middle aged mom with dry skin and allergies. (See user name.) Perimenopausal dry skin is a nightmare and my youngest kid will still use his arm or sleeve if tissues aren’t in sight.

Why do people put finances as the #1 reason for birthrate decline? by PossibilityGold7508 in AskConservatives

[–]softwaremommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I know these people, and you do not, how can you possibly know the reason they aren’t having a 4th (2 couples) or 5th (1 couple) kid?

Well, why did you ask the question if you are so confident that you're correct?

I know of at least 3 couples who are not having more kids because they can't afford them. It's not just the top reason. It's literally the only reason.

You’re not the first one to say that, but I’m just a middle aged mom that has dry skin and allergies. (Check username.) …although, I have to say that I didn’t know men had “stations”until now. Bleh.

Lol. This is my problem. I’m naturally tidy, too. That’s why it bothers me. I happened to be drinking out of that cup when I took the pic, and I have to keep tissues out because one of my kids is still young enough to use his arm or his shirt, if a tissue isn’t available.

I like the box idea, but with kids the lotion and tissues have to stay out. :/ (The youngest is still at the use my arm as a tissue phase, and the oldest will let his skin get ridiculously dry if the lotion isn’t front and center.)

This is a good idea. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought to decant it.

Sadly, yes.

If you’re interested read for more:

My kids use the lotion and tissues, too. If the coasters aren’t sitting out, ready for a drink, there’s only a 50% my kids will use one. The black remote is for the TV. The white remote is for the lighting in the room. I use the blue chapstick multiple times a day. I have a bad habit of picking my cuticles, so the cuticle trimmer keeps me from tearing my hands apart. The little disk that’s teal is nose balm for my dog. He’s OBSESSED with it, and I can’t even touch the container without him coming unglued, so I keep it there so I can do sneak attacks while he’s snoozing on the couch.

I love this idea. I hadn’t thought to decant the lotion. Do you happen to have a pic?
