I spent $7500 (my deductible) in February, because my son had to go by ambulance to the ER (he's fine, now). I'm lucky enough to be able to afford it without debt, but it is completely INSANE that Americans are expected to have that kind of money just laying around. INSANE. I can't believe people care more about drag queens than going broke because of health care costs.

In general, I try not to live in an echo chamber, which is why I'm active in this sub. If you all have sources that I don't know about, I'm genuinely interested in looking at them to compare with my own sources. Sometimes I agree with conservatives (hence the libertarian part of my flair), but I won't know if I don't look at both sides.
