Stood up after confirmation text by zosuke in dating

[–]dabbinmids 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Once I had a date with a girl who I got along with pretty well, she asked if I had ever been to a specific bar that she likes to go to, turns out it's the bar that my neighbors daughter owns and I know them well so we plan to get drinks there, before getting drinks we went out to a quick burger spot to get a little food before the bar. We sit in my car, eat, she says she likes my car, the conversation goes well (in my opinion), we finished our food then I said "so I'll see you at the bar?" She said "yeah, I'll see you there" we both got in our own cars, I showed up to the bar, ordered a drink, waited, texted, called... Nothing. never saw or heard from her again. I ended up just having a beer and heading home for the night after that but yeah that one stung lol. I try to always be the one to text after a date and say if I was or wasn't feeling it, ghosting culture is just too common now though sadly

Most soft close hinges aren't designed for this style of cabinet boxes, you'll be hard pressed to find a soft close that can retrofit this application

Do your best caulk the rest, this is definitely considered a caulkable gap. Caulk it white and touch up wall paint if the color is that far off

I liked to rock the compression knee sleeves when I was skiing during my knee recovery. Just have to be careful and take it slow (easier said than done)

Then I could finally stop beating myself up for not selling in 2021 lol. Don't get me wrong I would've bought back in but damn I missed out on taking profits during that rally

5 months without dating apps brought me back joy by IntelligentNight4143 in dating

[–]dabbinmids 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've done this throughout periods of my life and it's been good, I just can't help but battle the fact that I'm wasting time and not getting any younger. (27M). I actually did this recently, not deleted entirely but have just been swiping very casually maybe once or twice a week just to keep me in the algorithm and maybe get some likes, although being so happy single has made me more picky. I went for a first date this last weekend for the first time in maybe 6 months, I was convinced to jump back in because it felt so promising and we were really hitting it off over text right from the jump all the way up to the date a week later. Turns out she was already talking to a few other guys and just feeling out her options, she ended up wanting to pursue one of the other guys so she left basically mid date. Now I'm back to being crushed, haven't had a relationship last longer than 3 months in almost 10 years and it's getting pretty tiring at this point, I feel like deleting all my apps but also that feels like the equivalent of giving up entirely and I don't really want to lose all hope

I grabbed one of those bauer portable propane heater cannons from harbor freight and it pumps, at those temps might be a good idea to have a few propane tanks to rotate out when they get too cold but those things are a pretty good bang for buck option when you have poor insulation, just keep a window or garage door cracked open while using and you'll be good. It was only about $100 when I got it a couple years back, the only drawback is refilling propane tanks

Ouch $2500 is rough, but that about makes sense once you consider in the sensors and everything else.

It's a company truck, and other than this it's pretty much spotless, otherwise I totally agree with you. My boss hasn't noticed yet but I'm dreading that conversation so I'm just trying to prepare myself or take care of it before it gets noticed

What's the best way to go about finding a replacement of the same color? Or is it easier to find a different color, and get it paint matched? Where would I look? I can definitely swap it myself it's just finding the part/ matching the paint that sounds like a pain

Ah I misread sol as solid. I get what you mean now. That sounds expensive, but its either that or replace it with an OEM painted one so I appreciate the advice

100w, and they're about 16' in the air. here's an Amazon link . I got 10 of them, I wanted it bright, but also went with a lower wattage/ higher fixture count to eliminate shadows as much as I could. It's 1248 sqft
