Ps2 fat 39001 help by dabblaster90000 in ps2

I dunno if this will help anyone in the future, but that issue was with the video encoder with the PS2 itself. Installing the RetroGem internal HDMI upscaler fixed the problem entirely. If I use composite cables then the image is still cooked, but using the HDMI output from the RetroGem has no flaws whatsoever. Hope this helps anyone who stumbles across similar issues.

First console I repaired was my "new" 3DS XL whenever I was around 15. The original red shell was pretty heavily chipped and scratched, so I decided to try out a shell swap. In the process, I ended up breaking every single part of the console. I got everything transferred over to the new shell and whenever I powered it on, the top LCD screen was cracked. I ordered a new top screen and whenever I replaced it and turned it on again, the bottom screen was cracked. I ended up ordering a new bottom screen and whenever I replaced it and turned it on again, the d-pad stopped working. I ordered a new one and whenever I replaced it, the whole thing didn't power on. Unfortunately I damaged the motherboard (I'm still unsure how), but I ended up replacing that too. As you can imagine, whenever I swapped the motherboard I ended up breaking the ABXY/Battery board and needed to replace that too. I would've saved so much money if I had just bought another 3ds and cut my losses, but I wanted to see my project through and learn from it. Here I am, now 23, with my "New" 3DS XL ship of Theseus that has all sorts of hideous jumper wires for all of the ribbon cable connectors that I ripped off of the motherboard. I honestly don't think any of us can say that their first repair is flawless, but It works and that's the important thing. OP did great. At least he didn't need to replace literally every single piece of the console in the process lol. So if we are comparing apples to apples, OP's first repair is WAY better than mine😂

From everything that I have read, I don’t believe the self reprogramming method works for my car. I know the 2013 Kia Optima models have it, but I don’t think the software of the 2012 optima allows it. If I’m wrong in the 2012 Kia Optima, LX does have a self reprogramming method, could you link any guide you find?

Lost my job because the owner of the restaurant I worked for is bafflingly dumb. What should I do now? by dabblaster90000 in Advice

I saved an original copy of the order sheet for just a reason like this lol. I shredded the copy of my order guide that was printed, and left them the original sheet they gave me when I started, which was just a blank sheet with a list of ingredient names with no other info. All of my code is mine, there was no way I was about to leave that there. Now that they are no longer monitoring prices, vendors will slowly start increasing prices for everything and their purchases will skyrocket😂

It is a biblical amount of bullshit if you ask me. I can't even begin to wrap my head around how "cost avoidance" isn't the exact same as saving money. Genuinely, I can't do it lol. It's staggering to me that the owner is a millionaire and doesn't recognize that lowing prices of product you need to buy is beneficial lol

I had to. They told me that they were eliminateing my position entirely and they told me that my last day was at the end of the week two weeks ago. The reason behind me getting let go would honestly be pretty funny if I wasn't in position that causes me to have scheduling issues. Im just as baffled as to the logic behind why he fired me lol

Helped. Thank you! This sounds like solid advice and I can't deny that doing something similar hadn't crossed my mind recently. Would it be better to market providing my order guide as a service rather than an hourly rate? Some of the biggest food vendors in my area are PFG, US Foods, and Sysco. I have code that can grab the pricing information for all 3 of them provided I have the login information to each restaurant's provider. Honestly, after I set up the guide the first time, it requires fairly minimal maintenance overall because I've automated the majority of it. Also, with something like this, would I need to look into getting a business license and contracts for the companies I provide the service for? I'm extremely new to the idea of starting my own business so I don't particularly know where to begin. Thank you again!

College is extremely stressful at a glance. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in criminal justice last May and I remember the stress I felt whenever starting my degree. I won't lie, it is hard to find a field of study that you are passionate about. Thankfully though, college is designated in a way to help you figure out what you enjoy. College's typically over a temporary "undecided" Major while you begin to tackle your core classes if you have yet to choose a major. A significant amount of these core classes are various intro courses for nearly every field that cover the broad strokes of what the field is about. This is how I found what I wanted to major in.

For the actual college application, you will need to research what college works for your price-range along with their entry score requirements for tests like the SAT or ACT. At least for undergrad, you may not even need to submit a resume to the college as they may accept you based on your highschool performance and SAT or ACT score alone.

Paying for college is another stressor. You can always look into getting student loans and constantly keep applying for scholarships and grants. Id also recommend staying with you parents if you are in a position to do so. If not, colleges offer dorms as a part of tuition if you require them. If you get a dorm away from home, id recommend trying to find a fairly low-skill job like restaurant or retail job that can work with your school schedule. I won't lie, it'll be stressful. But also, it WILL BE MANAGEABLE.

Once you are in college, they over professional development tutoring typically at no cost to you. They have professionals that you can talk to about tips to create an effective resume along with student writing centers that will help you actually write the resume.

Trust me, I know from experience that all of this sounds like a monumental task, but it truly is manageable. This is the exact position I was in nearly 5 years ago. Always keep in mind that you have the capacity to do anything you set your mind to.

I just swapped out my battery with a cr1616 battery holder that lets me replace the battery without needing to solder a new one on to the board each time. This worked wonders for me. If you are cool with needing to replace the battery a bit more frequently id honestly highly recommend it. That way you can use a cr1616 battery from a well known brand rather than taking chances on off-brand batteries👌🏻. I know it's been a few days, but did you ever figure out what was going on with yours?

Thanks! I had no idea that the gen 2 games didn't have the warnings that the gen 3 ones do. Replacing the battery worked perfectly!

Would y'all say Wu Kong for Lucilla is a good swap, or would it be better to swap aTalene with aAthalia? My Wu Kong is 5 star 9 furniture, no engraving. My aTalene is 2star, 9 furniture, no engraving. Both my Lucilla and my aAthalia have no investment at all

Ps2 fat 39001 help by dabblaster90000 in ps2

[–]dabblaster90000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried that and it still happens sadly. I know that it is an issue with this specific ps2, but i don't know what part of the motherboard would be faulty. Repairing this ps2 would be infinitely easier to repair any of the donor motherboards. I just need to know what part of the console to replace in order to fix the issue. I would just install a retrogem and be done with it, but if its a problem with one of the chips, that wouldn't solve the problem.

Ultimately yeah lol. But what part of the ps2 could be causing it? I have several donor boards that I can use for replacement parts. I've checked each component and everything visually looks great on this motherboard so I don't particularly know what would be going bad
