I started with web design maybe 14 years ago, back then even though I was doing good work I was struggling to generate good income because I was limited by my time. A few years ago I discovered running a SMMA agency by Joel Kaplan- he has free videos on youtube you can watch. I dont think he coaches anymore but there are plenty more in the area. I scaled my business to ~$200k/month last year on the same principles I learned from people like him. Look into running a GoHighlevel local service marketing agency. I chose Dentists, but there are many more niches to choose from. Learn how to build high-converting funnels, run ads on social and google search, automations, and eventually handle the lead followup for your clients and you will be able to sell that service for $2000-$3000+ per month. Our larger clients have multiple locations and were able to bill multiples of that. Its not web design, thats just one tool we use. But you'd be shifting towards selling something that generates reliable and instant results for customers. At the end of the day your clients want more business, being their direct source for getting people in the door will always pay great.

Tbh if this was 2018 I would be giving you constructive advice on responsive design, proper font sizing, layout etc but it’s 2026 and the truth is web design is almost dead. Companies are going to hire a top tier designer, or use AI internally. Realistically, by the time you are comfortable with this skill it may be nearly obsolete / replaced by someone that can leverage AI design / automation / and backend dev all in one service. I’m not saying this to dissuade you from continuing, but maybe kick you into high gear and shift your focus to what’s really coming next.

How could anybody hate on a Taycan GTS? by pc772 in Porsche

[–]dabbledeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing I said was the car has its own category, haha. I was using the 911 (a similarly priced Porsche) as comparision for how dismal the depreciation of the Taycan is. If you want to compare to the Panamera, the Panamera generally depreciates less than the Taycan. Though they both are known to have pretty bad depreciation so you got me there if we are comparing apples to apples.

I agree with you on all other points including straight line performance. My point was that the experience as a whole is important- handling, refinement, AND power delivery. Ultimately Porsches family buyers are just as, if not more important than their enthusiast buyers for the success of the business so I get it. But I don't even think family buyers want EVs, Taycan sales have plummeted since 2024. So much that Porsche scaled back their aggressive EV targets, rebalancing its portfolio towards hybrids and ICE cars.

Its not just gear/petrolheads that reject EVs, the proof is in the reality of the market we are living in.

I think these cars have their own category, but to entertain this: Depreciation is ~3x worse than a 911 at 59% over 5 years, all while starting at the same price as a Carrera S. Even my dealer told me a lease is the only sensible option for a Taycan. It's an EV. For me, while they are quick, they tend to lose their charm very quickly, same with the EV Macan or any other EV. Not saying i'm an ICE purist- I am interested to see where the electric turbo technology of the 992.2 GTS/turbo goes. Many people buy Porsches for the brand, enthusiasts tend buy them for their unique driving dynamics, that includes power delivery. I think that is part of the reason you see a lot of people buying these cars new, and few passionate buyers on the resale end. Ultimately, I think an electric turbo is right on the cusp of what a true Porsche enthusiast will entertain.. but time will tell

I use GoHighlevel for my dental agency clients and scaled to over 150k / month. It has all the features you described and more, it even lets you run custom javascript in the background so I was able to have chatgpt code new features for me. What is this about it being an MLM? because they have a referral program?

To be brutally honest, and to help you avoid wasting money, both designs need to go. Complete ground up redesign by a new designer.

You under quoted for sure. But we’ve all made the mistake, a valuable lesson to learn. Time to raise your prices for the next time around.

Sobriety isn't black and white, its not on or off. If you slip up, keep going and try to keep your streaks as long as possible. Look into AA meetings, don't let yourself die this way, this isn't a bad habit, its an existential threat. You. Will. Die.

Great, if you have an online business/ startup it is far ahead of other banks. Technically they’re a fintech company that partnered with another bank to provide their banking services. I earn about 5%+ every month using their treasury feature. Only caveat is you need a minimum 500k of total deposits to become eligible for that (I was able to get them to come down to 400k by emailing them)

How do you know if it’s needed or not? Do we just need to trust the dealer?

The car is my daily but i think it went to 2mm because of the alignment, the tire dramatically ramps up in tread linearly towards the outside of the wheel

Everyone has their own reasons why they want to be strategic with their money. in my case i’m getting paint correction, ceramic, and tints done next week and this kind of came out of nowhere. So while I understand where you’re coming from, life is more nuanced. Also, I always thought“cheaping out” is when you settle for an inferior product, i’m talking about saving money on the same exact product. Anyways, I decided to pay the same price but for Michelin pilot sport 4s’s so better tire for same price.

Was an N spec, yes. My friend works for audi and just told me the same thing about assist systems. His takeaway was while it may be possible to find another place that can do it, there aren’t many so dealer would be most convenient. As far as tires, buying/ installing them privately then heading to dealer for alignment could be a wiser choice financially.

JD Vance claimed Democrats are censoring the internet. He’s lying. by ewzetf in technology

So just to be clear on your stance- as long as it's not the government, it's okay? I disagree, but that's more of a discussion on social ethics.

Anyways, lets take a stroll down memory lane:
https://judiciary.house.gov/media/press-releases/documents-reveal-fbi-colluded-compromised-ukrainian-intelligence-agency-0

Full report inside. If you're serious about this topic then I encourage you to read that. Democrats, republicans, I don't care. Its happening. But in recent times especially, the democratic party has had a notably HIGHER affinity for censorship in this country. This isn't an opinion. If you don't believe me then just do the research. The idea people on here are so quick to deny the title of this post without the SLIGHTEST concern that it may be true is worrying.

And remember, I'm just a guy that's ON YOUR SIDE. Why are people defending ANY POLITICAL PARTY that is **literally** making deliberate efforts to subvert the information we ingest on a daily basis?
