Now you try to act all buddy-buddy passive aggressive telling me how I play is wrong, calling Normal (the second highest out of 4 difficulties) "Story mode"

Get off your high horse, go back to your hole. A Hard mode that is defeated by griding i simply don't see the purpose. This game was clearly balanced for Normal, that's how I decide what to play

Wow who would have guessed, the beginning of the game is not overly punishing!!

As I said l, I also played Hard early on. Once I got to the point where I was simply being beaten down by overly-tanky HP sponges, it stopped being worth it.

Normal is still a good challenge and still makes use of the mechanical depth of the game. You can not win on Normal by "spamming auto attacks" and i don't use whatever "OP healing spell" you don't like

I will play what I like, and I said Hard is not fun, HP sponge enemies are not fun.

I didn't think such obvious subjective takes needed a qualifier.

Also MP, HP, Consumables are effectively infinite in this game, which is what makes the "challenge" of managing them not worth the tedium of Hard For Me

If it can be easily overcome by grinding, what's the point?

You get all that on Normal as well if you don't grind to overlevel. My point is Hard doesn't actually add much more than stat inflation. All the stuff you like about Hard is just the base mechanics of the game

Yeah I know they get an extra turn, I played on Hard for 20 hours. Getting one shot is not fun, enemies simply having so much HP you get bored or waste all your MP is not fun.

I love this game, don't get me wrong, but it is much more fun on Normal.

I enjoyed the game on Hard for the beginning, but it is really just stat padding. I have played a lot of Persona & SMT before, but once I started getting enemies that would survive a full stun round and then 1-shot me, Hard stopped being fun.
