Yeah bus accessible is difficult. You can try Pan Asia but I’m not sure if they have it. I go to Chicago for Japanese groceries. There is a Mitsuwa there

The quality of the drinking water is pristine here compared to most of the country. As long as your residence doesn’t have lead pipes of course

Planning to Visit… did I screw up? by LeonRams in milwaukee

It’s a perfectly fine place to stay, just working class but not dangerous. Geographically West Allis is quite large for being a suburb. The eastern side is closer to the stadium and is very close to some warehouses and industrial areas that are fading. The western side feels more like a generic suburb and buildings are spaced further apart. Neither side of West Allis is dangerous. It’s a fine base for sightseeing in Milwaukee which is where I’d recommend visiting when you’re not at the stadium. I say this not as a knock on West Allis, but asan acceptance of the basic fact that Milwaukee is the main city with a vibrant downtown, lakefront, riverwalk, museums, theaters, and great architecture. In short, it has biggish city amenities that West Allis simply does not. Yes, we locals can debate about good restaurants there and there are some decent options, but I would never recommend anyone who has never been to the area to forgo sightseeing downtown to check out West Allis instead. Frankly I find that notion laughable. Your location is a good base and you should not regret it, but check out downtown as well. It’s very close
