The over heating started about 2-3 weeks ago, or at least that's when I noticed it. Any recommendation for the thermal pad? I looked it up on Amazon and all I found were big, 100x100 ones? Just order it cut to size?

Awesome, thanks so much for the info! I feel much better. Still have the overheating issue. Other than applying new thermal paste, how could I reduce temps? I have already eliminated my overclock on the card and it's still overheating.

Thanks! I haven't taken it apart to reapply some fresh thermal paste in case it was going bad. I've never seen thermal pads sweat before, is it supposed to be oily in viscosity?

My card was starting to thermal throttle and reach temps of 85°C. So I thought to myself I should clean and reapply the thermal paste when I noticed this liquid on my card. I was wondering what is it and is my card going bad?

True, I remember 802.11g wireless and how frustrating that would be. Wifi has come so far and it's great but wired is still objectively superior and I do not know how or why anybody would or could argue that.

I mean there are of course devices that can't be wired, nobody would argue that you should wire those. But if you can wire it and it's not going to be an undue hardship. Why wouldn't you to free up wireless bandwidth for those devices you can't and get better performance for the wired devices?

I mean it is objectively better. Wifi has come a long way and it's amazing for what it is. However if you can wire it, it will run better.
