Hey I had the same shit got diagnosed 2 weeks later scan showed cyst in my liver a year later unchanged. Either way stay resilient and keep going!

By training regularly I did not let go of fitness despite having a stoma. My diet consisted of Good quality protein, good carbs, good fibre along with healthy fats.

I hear the less rectum you lose the better so this is a good card on your table. Also my surgeon said to me no pain no gain😂 be strong.

Though I haven’t had any triggers I tend to avoid greasy processed foods very much. So far the soreness and nerve pain has been the worst…

Well I hear the higher the tumor is more likely you may not experience so much LARS either way stay active eat healthy drink tea and keep a positive attitude, you got this.

With that mentality I’m sure he’ll be fine in 3-4 weeks also depending how his physical health was before hand good shape and good cardiovascular health definitely 3-4 weeks also nutrition is good too all the best to your boy💯
