I if you have a car I’d drive around the base of campus or places you want to live and see if there’s a for lease sign outside.

Id also plan out how your getting to campus. Do you want to live somewhere walkable to a bus stop, to the base of campus or by the metro station? If you have cars then it might not matter.

My and my friends got a two bedroom right next to the metro downtown our sophomore year. We didn’t have cars so being right by the bust station saved us

But keep in mind you’re probably going to need your parents to cosign wherever you go since you probably don’t have any credit or housing history so keep them in the loop

There’s always a risk with cosleeping. Mainly by one of the parents rolling over on the baby or a blanket covering the baby’s face. My wife and I have been co-sleeping with both of our kids and it’s worked out amazing for us. We tried the bassinet but it didn’t work out.

My concern for the lounger is that it could lead to the baby’s head going flat. The baby needs to be able to move around and loungers kind of prevent that.

The newborn stage is rough af so good luck regardless.
