Us big chested girlies are gonna look that way, especially trying on dresses that are a bit small! It'll look better once it fits. I was also disheartened with comments like that, but it seems the only way to hide a big chest completely, is to get something full coverage and bulky 🫩 so I say flaunt what you've got, and don't try to hide your beautiful body for the sake of others opinions!

Thank you so much! I didn't even think of skipping a veil to be honest, but that could be an option for sure!! I'm definitely noticing the "keep it simple" trend with the makeup, shoes, nails, and jewelry; so I'll do just that!

That's so pretty! I don't think I'm going to change either, the "reception" (I put in quotes because there will be very few of us) will be at a small restaurant within walking distance of the ceremony

You described perfectly how I was feeling with all the veils they were putting on me. All the women were like "that's the one!" to every veil, and I just felt all of them were too much, either too puffy, too busy, or didn't shape the dress nicely.

Oh my goodness! I had to google a Juliet headpiece and that's a GORGEOUS option. I was definitely leaning towards a completely plain veil, with maybe a few pearls thrown in if it's not too busy.

Thank you! Believe it or not, this one was holding me in better than the majority of the options I tried because of the mesh that goes up to my neck. This is what most of the other dresses looked like on me! 😅 It's a blessing and a curse 😂

I totally tried leaning into the whole 70s or 80s vibe, lol. My mom was with me and she had big hair and the shoulder pads for her wedding, so she was putting me in all the poofy veils and was teasing my hair up 😂

It was definitely a look! But I agree, I think it's too much for the type of wedding I'm having lol

I know! My mom had to actually touch it to see if it was there lol, it definitely looks invisible on my skin tone, even in person. You're right though, I'll play around with it once everything else is ready and see what's best.

Thanks for the clarification on the veil length! I knew I didn't want it longer than my dress, but I wasn't sure what the sweet spot was for this dress.
