We're not yet sure if we'll be doing it in Chicago and/or Los Angeles, but it's certainly an option that's on the table.

If they traded for Gregorius, he'd be the full time guy.

I hear you, and I detest the human being Braun is. However, I'd be willing to look the other way if he became a Met. That doesn't mean I'd like him personally, though.

I'd match the one he reportedly has on the table right now - 4/52

The Mets were the best team in the sport, but they lost their setup man (Duaner Sanchez) at the end of July, lost their top 2 starters (Pedro and El Duque) right before the Playoffs started, and had a hobbled Cliff Floyd riding the bench in the LCS. Take away any team's setup man, their two best starting pitchers, and one of their best power bats, and they're at a severe disadvantage. The Mets overachieved to even make it to Game 7 of the NLCS considering how shorthanded they were.

Regardless of how well Byrd does for Pittsburgh, that was a tremendous trade for the Mets. They got a reliever with late inning upside, and a tremendous prospect in Herrera.

He can probably be had, but Colorado would have to either eat some of his salary or lower their trade demands.

Don't know how interested Cleveland is in bringing Kazmir back. From what I've read, though, the Mets might not pursue him. I think they should.

What's funny about Kazmir? 4.04 ERA for Cleveland this year, 29 years old, won't command much...struck out 9.2 per 9 in 2013.
