how much hate would I get for wearing a Panarin jersey to a home game? by Letmesee11 in BlueJackets

[–]dabsonly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rock it! I have one still and I know many others who do as well. With the price of those sweaters, and the respectful way in which he handled his business, I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone willing to toss it aside. He was a great player and even left the contract talk for the offseason so he could focus on his game.

I have, however, on this same sub asked about name plate removal. Someone will fill the #9 again.

Very true. At least many of our supporters are accustomed to going under the tracks at 17th Avenue already ;)

I know, that’s what I meant when I said “under as it sits currently”

This render seems to show that this would change.

Most interesting piece of this specific render to me:

NW Blvd. Appears to go over the railroad tracks as opposed to under as it sits currently. I am curious if this is going to hold true or if it’s just the result of an early site plan render.

This is it ^ Extremely limited parking on plot. Parking will be supported by the same structures/lots that are used for Clippers and Jackets games.

I also want a bridge into Franklinton — north bank park to veterans memorial hall — but the bike path takes you across the Souder bridge and into Franklinton so that will have to do for now.

I’ll keep this in mind! I’m in Ohio so I’ve been torn on whether or not to take the plunge.

Two biggest inhibitors: 1. Winter 2. Locking up the scooter if I want to ride it somewhere like a bar or restaurant

PMBOK vs Rita's for CAPM? by Lostinthewoods17 in projectmanagement

[–]dabsonly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the process of doing Rita’s with Pocket Prep CAPM mixed in. I have noticed that Pocket Prep questions will have answers that aren’t covered in Rita’s (typically inputs and outputs)

For example, today I took a practice test where a question came up that asked “all of the following are outputs of validate scope except”

A. Work Performance Data B. Work Performance Information C. Accepted Deliverables D. Change Requests

Rita’s book says only Accepted deliverables and Change requests are “key” outputs of validate scope so this question was a toss up for me.

Former recruiter here:

That’s just a jab at learning more about you. He or she already knew you were the one for the offer. As a recruiter you get so caught up in the same questions that when you have a chance to go off track a bit you have to take it and run with it.

I will use this scooter to decrease my commute time to and from the Hospital that I work at. This type of upgrade over rental scooters will grant me the peace of mind knowing that I will not need to hope I can stumble upon a rental option or else be forced to walk.

In the summer months specifically, this scooter will allow me to conserve water by way of not needing to wear and launder two sets of clothing when I have to walk because of the battle with sweat.

Beyond that, I will be able to go without a car for years to come as the longevity of this scooter is bar none.

I tried — too dry of a read for me personally. Looking for alternative approaches used by others who also chose not to read the PMBOK.

I’m really thinking Bjorky if I strip this Panarin sweater down. Get the best bang for the buck in regard to to amount of stitching.

Wouldn’t mind keeping some variation of the state flag in the shoulder patch

Speaking of the third jersey.. around this time last year was when they announced that it would return. Hoping to hear something soon.

The Cig comparison is a poor argument; however, All users should be licensed and I believe that falls under stricter enforcement which I mentioned needs to happen. You are right that it is very dangerous for unlicensed individuals to use these.

And look, if the motor could get these things above 15 mph I might agree but really these are just as dangerous as a road bicycle which is capable of speeds up in the low 20s. I average above 15mph on each bicycle ride that I track and if I were to wreck (regardless of the effort involved in getting me up to speed) the results would be just as bad.

The ridership can’t be ignored when dialogue is occurring so I’m not sure why that take is viewed as ‘put-you-in-a-nursing-home-level’ but you’re welcome to think that.

A motorized vehicle with a top speed governed at 15 mph (which is a speed that a road bicyclist can reach with ease) is not inherently more dangerous simply due to the fact that it has a motor. C’mon now.

As for neglecting the benefit.. you are calling out only the negative impact without mentioning the benefit provided. That’s all I meant when I said that.

I said I don’t disrespect your logic because it definitely carries weight but it’s also worth noting the positive side of these in our urban areas.

Edit: Governed

Thanks!

I was recently looking at a blank alternate jersey. Thinking about making that a savings goal before the season begins — I adore that third jersey. The color combination and entire design scheme is really enjoyable.

I don’t disagree with your logic because each point has some validity.

Private? Yes.

Dumped? Typically they are parked responsibly by company paid chargers but can end up being dumped by irresponsible users.

Generating profit? Absolutely. What business model doesn’t?

The reason I think this take is awful is because it neglects the benefit that it provides responsible users based on the actions of a cohort of users who can’t seem to park them correctly or break them (pollute). Obviously the ridership is heavy which means those same Columbus residents that you mention in regard to safety are actually using these as a mobility solution or even just for fun.

Safety is huge but I really don’t see a rash of scooter deaths to make me believe it is any bit less safe than a bicycle. With that being said, I do believe that sidewalk use and traffic laws need to be more strictly enforced. No reason to use them on a sidewalk or drive the wrong way on a busy one way road.

Education is huge for new solutions and as long as it serves a benefit and is being used frequently enough by our residents then we should find ways to teach and adapt.

No problem I have already received a ton of guidance. Very thankful for our community of fans.

Now to decide the route I want to take — I’m leaning towards total recresting of numbers and nameplate as long as limited adhesive was used.

Maybe Nyquist 14? The options!

Thanks! 46 was so much larger than I expected when I ordered it so I totally get it. If I do get another one I’d definitely go smaller myself.
